English 2-CO1-Lesson Plan

This lesson plan was used for a classroom observation in an English Grade 2 class, focusing on Personal Pronouns. It was designed to align with the Special Science Curriculum (SSC) under DepEd and followed the Direct Teaching Method to ensure clear, structured, and effective instruction.

The lesson began with a brief motivational activity to engage students, followed by an explicit explanation of personal pronouns, their usage, and examples. Guided practice was conducted through interactive activities, including sentence completion and group exercises. To assess understanding, students participated in an independent activity, applying what they learned in real-world contexts. The lesson concluded with a recap and formative assessment to measure learning outcomes.

Throughout the observation, the lesson emphasized student engagement, mastery of content, and the use of varied instructional materials to cater to different learning styles. The structured approach ensured a smooth flow of activities while maintaining a student-centered learning environment.
