Ang SLM na ito ay maingat na inihanda para sa ating mag-aaral sa kanilang pag-aaral sa tahanan. Binubuo ito ng iba't ibang bahagi na gagabay sa kanila upang maunawaan ang bawat aralinat malinang ang mga kasanayang itinakda ng kurikulum.

Nakapaloob sa Modyul na ito ang parehong tungkulin na may kinalaman sa sarili at pamilyang kinabibilangan. Pag-aaralan mo ang ang mga impormasyong hatid ng mga balita, patalastas, programa at telebisyon at internet.  

Sisiyatin mo kung tama o hindi ang mga ipinababatid ng mga ito upang hindi malinlang o maging biktima ng maling ulat tulad ng ginagawa ng mga batas sa mga larawan. Napapahalagan mo ang katotohanan sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuri.

Ang Modyul na ito ay inihanda upang makatulong sa ating mga mag-aaral na madaling matutunan ang mga aralin sa asignaturang Agham Panlipunan. Ang mga bahaging nakapaloob dito ay sinigurong naayon sa mga ibinigay na layunin.

Hinihiling ang iyong paggabay sa pagbibigay sa ating mga mag-aaral ng tamang paraan ng paggamit nito. Malaki ang iyong maitutulong sa pag-unlad nila sa pag-unawa sa pagpapakita ng kakayahan ng may tiwala sa sarili na kanilang magiging gabay sa mga sumusunod na aralin.
